Akshay Tiwari . A scene from Life of Pi (2012).
Original Credits: Directed by Ang Lee. Produced by Fox 2000 Pictures. Music by Mychael Danna. Cinematography by Claudio Miranda. Screenplay by David Magee.
This scene was inspired by the climax of Life of Pi (2012). Adult Pi Patel, played by the legendary Indian actor Irrfan Khan, delivers a poignant monologue reflecting on his arrival at the shore of Mexico after surviving for months on the Pacific Ocean. Pi expresses his painful final farewell to Richard Parker, the Bengal tiger who was his fierce companion throughout their journey of survival, mourning that they never shared a proper goodbye before Richard Parker disappeared into the jungle forever. The clip below is Akshay's take on this epic monologue.
